Smile Assessment

Before Dr. Botbol can design the smile of your dreams, he will completely assess your oral health, existing dentition and dental work, the shape of your face and features, your skin tone, and other important aesthetic factors. Armed with comprehensive information, Dr. Botbol will talk with you about the smile you want to achieve. Bring photos of smiles you like so that we can pinpoint the attributes you want in your new smile. Our before and after photo gallery may also have smiles with characteristics that you're looking for.

The Studio B Dental team will take time to learn what kind of appearance you want to achieve, so we can create a completely custom smile design plan to make your dreams become reality. Using enhanced computer imaging software, we'll create digital representations of your potential smile. We can manipulate the images to depict the exact smile you want, and then we'll move toward a smile wax up, or blueprint.

Smile Wax Up: The Blueprint

Studio B Dental works with talented ceramists who will use imprints of your teeth to create wax models of your mouth. From these accurate wax models, we can determine how to restructure your dentition so that the underlying and supporting tissues (bone and gums), as well as your bite, are factored in to your new smile. With this information, Dr. Botbol can build a new smile that is beautiful, fully functional, and in harmony with the rest of your body.

Trial Smile

After you and Dr. Botbol find your perfect new smile, he will send the smile makeover plan to our trusted lab. There, a talented artist will create wax restorations to alter the smile wax up. This allows you and Dr. Botbol to see an accurate model of the new smile in 3D.

If you and Dr. Botbol like the outcome, the dental lab will produce temporary restorations for you to wear so that you can become accustomed to your new appearance and convey any final tweaks to Dr. Botbol. A trial smile eliminates fear of the unknown, you will know exactly what your new smile will look like in your mouth before Dr. Botbol begins the transformation.
